Last winter I completly kidnap the beautiful music video for the song "Walking on Air" by Kerli Koiv. I was so inspired that I wanted to try to create a sculpture inspired by her own and her video ... which is in turn inspired by a wonderful artistic work of Natalie Shau.

Music is my first passion and importat Most Often and my sculptures are inspired by music, songs and music videos. So this sculpture is inspired by one of my favorite singer: Kerli Koiv.

Here is my sculpture.
Kerli is a sculpture carved entirely by hand without the use of molds.
The whole figure on the base is about 30 cm high but the sculpture is removable from the base. 'S sculpted in polymer clay by an handmade with wire. The eyes are inserted and are handmade by the talented Patrick Cozzo while the hair is blonde mohair. It 's painted with acrylics and oil paints. The costume is made of polymer clay and fabric and silk tulle. The base has been created by me from a piece of wood cut and sanded and then painted using the technique of imitation del marmo nero.

Kerli is a One Of A Kind handmade sculpture with no molds used in her creation.
The whole figure on her base is about 12 inches high but the sculpture can be removed from her base. She's sculpted in polymer clay over an handmade strong wire armature. She has inset eyes handmade by the great italian ooak artist Patrizia Cozzo and she has blonde mohair hair. Her skin is painted with acrylics and oil paints. Her clothes are handmade with polymer clay, tulle and silk fabrics. The base is handmade and is a polished wood block painted as black marble.
